I was approached by Fernando asking if I was interested in helping out with a short film for a 48 hour film festival competition. The limitations of the format meant that not much could be done
in the preproduction side except for recruiting people and finding roles for the crew. However through a series of zoom meetings with the producers, the director Amelia York, and myself, we came up with a look book
for styles of image we enjoyed. When the contest started, we were provided with a few key structures to follow: genre, character, line of dialouge, and prop. The writers Alex Vargas and Isabel Selling
locked themselves in a room and drafted the script. The following day we met up at a crewmates apartment and began principal photography.

The pool scene was filmed by Daisy Herrera on her waterproof camera. Probably my favorite sequence of the film.

This project was made in a short amount of time. From conception to presentation this has been the fastest turnaround time
on a project I have worked on. The pressure of the project was subsided by how amaizing everyone was to work with. I would like to
thank everyone for having me on this. The film premiered on the 48hr film festival livestream. I don't believe it won any awards but
perhaps the real award was the friends we made along the way. - OM
